Even if the alliance "unites the right" they get 29.7% of the vote. Unless there is an issue in this riding I don't know about, the Liberals will keep it.

There is a large East Indian community, and the Tories have nominated an East Indian. The Liberal MP from this area is very popular however. Liberal victory, with the Conservatives in a strong second.

And whaddaya know, CA's nominated an East Indian as well. Though Parrish goes into this with, almost unbelievably, the best '97 905-belt result, and both the "united right" candidates last time were vizmins, too. Go by the polls and look to the strongest challenge coming from CA; although if they actually *grab* it we're *really* talking about Harris-mania Fed-style...

I have seen a whole lot of Alliance lawn signs in Mississauga Centre so this riding is still up for grabs and I have not seen to many Liberal signs or Conservative.

I am a big fan of Mr.Dhaliwal. He is an accomplished individual, who unlike other Mississauga candidates, has a very realistic shot of winning. Dhaliwal has a strong team behind him, and his website is professional. I met Dhaliwal once, and he has a firm handshake, a sign of determination. Dhaliwal represents the Alliance, and his constituents well. If Mississauga is going to get an Alliance MP, it will be in Mississauga Centre.

The early plethora of Alliance lawn signs is not new here. Reform's Janice Lim beat the tardy Parrish to the signage punch in '97, as well. Big deal; Lim still wound up over 50 points back and depositless...
